Why Inverter?
In non-inverter air conditioners, the room temperature is maintained by switching the compressor on and off. When room temperature goes below the set temperature, the compressor is switched off and when the room temperature rises above the set temperature, the compressor is switched on resulting in cooling.
This frequent On-Off of the compressor consumes more energy resulting in increased electricity bills. In inverter type air conditioners, temperature is adjusted by changing the compressor speed without turning it ON and OFF. This saves energy and reduces electricity bills.
